The Eide Automotive Group, based in Bismark, North Dakota, has purchased Zumbrota Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, RAM from Steve Johnson.  The dealership’s new name is Eide Chrysler Zumbrota and is the second Minnesota dealership for the group joining Eide Chrysler Pine City.

According to the Rochester Post Bulletin, the sale came together very quickly, with talks starting in late May.

“They had a strong desire to come into the market and made me a very good offer that I couldn’t refuse. It’s a win-win,” Johnson said. “I feel very good about the organization. I’ve known this family for 30 years.”  

Johnson and his daughters continue to own and operate Zumbrota Ford.
