Director, Cybersecurity Practice

Al Sweeny, director with Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, has been with the firm since 2016. Al is a cybersecurity and privacy leader with a consistent eighteen-year history of delivering, managing, and supporting large and complex projects. Al’s previous international accounting firm experience includes data protection strategy, maturity assessments, compliance initiatives, and information security architecture.  


 Sean Beaton, Sr. Manager

Sean is a senior manager with the cybersecurity and IT risk team, who joined the firm in 2017. Sean has more than 25 years of cybersecurity, IT operations, software-development and Fortune 100 consulting experience. He has worked in many different industries: higher education, finance, banking, retail, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and technology.  He specializes in assisting organizations with maturing new security teams or capabilities.


Jason Floyd, Cybersecurity Architect


Jason Floyd is a cybersecurity architect with Ascent Solutions. In this role, Jason helps organizations assess and remediate cybersecurity risks of all kinds. Jason came to Ascent Solutions after 10 years with the US Marine Corp. Among his many accomplishments, Jason was an instructor in cyber warfare, led more than 700 Marines and advised Sr. Command of all cyber security policies and defense postures for a secure facility.
