Congratulations to Maday Motors, which is celebrating 70 years in business. The New Ulm dealership was started by Ed and Teresa Maday in 1946 as a Hudson’s franchise. Over the years, the store has survived many mergers and changes, first when .
Hudson and Nash combined in 1954, and they became an American Motor dealer. In 1970, they added Jeep, and when Renault bought out AMC in 1978, Maday became an AMC/Jeep/Renault dealer. Ten years later, Chrysler bought out Renault turning the store into a Jeep/Eagle dealer before becoming a stand alone Jeep dealer. In 2007, Maday bought out the local Chrysler Dodge dealer and today operates as a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store under the leadership of Ed and Teresa's sons, Denny and Paul Maday.
