At the end of September, Richfield Bloomington Honda opened its new facility, the second-largest Honda dealership in the United States. At 117,000 square feet, the new building is four times the size of the old dealership and includes two levels of showroom space and rooftop parking for vehicles awaiting service. To heat the expanded space and still be energy-efficient, the facility uses waste oil from the service department.   

The larger facility also means more jobs, as total employment is expected to grow from 97 to 180 by the end of the year.
