Asa Auto Plaza Supports Six Local Charities

February 17, 2015

At the end of each year, Asa Auto Plaza of Jackson aims to reach 100 sales in November and December, with a portion of each sale donated back to causes customers suggest. In 2014, Asa reached over 110 sales in the last two months of the year, resulting in the delivery of six $500 checks to local charities.

"Much like any local business, they [local charities] rely on local support to make it work. The more we can circulate locally, the better we all are," stated dealer Todd Asa.  The recipients of the $500 checks included the Jackson United Fund, the Jackson and Windom Ministerial Associations, the Windom Hockey Association, Big Buddies, and Riverside Elementary School in Jackson.  "We try to rotate the charities and groups each year because we know there are dozens and dozens of very worthy local causes, and we wish we could support every one," said Asa.
