 MADA Privacy Form Initiative Minimize
Since July, 2001, Federal Law has required all dealers to provide their credit customers with a written Privacy Disclosure.
 
What’s changed? The government's model form has been completely revamped. A simple “fill in the blanks” – “one size fits all” - standard form just won’t work. Individual dealers must examine their own operations and credit information sharing practices in order to create a Privacy Disclosure that’s tailored to their operations and information sharing practices.
 
When is the new form required?  The new Privacy Form can be used now.  It must be in use no later than January 1, 2011.
 
How can MADA help? If you complete the questionnaire below, MADA Counsel, Jim Schutjer, will work with the MADA forms department to prepare a personalized draft form for your dealership or dealership group. MADA forms representatives will contact you about ordering, quantities and delivery.
 
What should I do now? If you haven’t already done so, print and complete this questionnaire.
